You may recall that we are planning to host this years AGM in the week beginning 13th September 2010. This year is Twin’s 25th Anniversary so we have been trying to ensure that the event will be a special one.
We are delighted to say that the Welsh Assembly Government has agreed to facilitate another major event to coincide with Twin’s AGM thereby providing some financial support to our event. Those of you travelled to Wales in 2008 will recall the warm hospitality offered and the positive debate that the event stimulated. Plans for this year’s event are still being formulated and we are talking to an international slow food fair about working with them to maximise exposure and publicity.
We hope to send more details in the near future but please pencil the dates into your diaries now 13th to 20th September.
Como recordaran, estamos planeando la Asamblea y Reunión Anual General la semana del 13 de Septiembre del presente. Este año además es el aniversario de 25 años de Twin, así que esperamos tener un evento realmente especial.
Es con mucho gusto que hemos recibido confirmación de la Asamblea del Gobierno de Gales esta dispuesta una vez mas a facilitar un evento que coincida con nuestra asamblea y también contribuirán con algunos costos del evento. Los miembros que participaron de nuestra Asamblea del 2008 recordaran su calida hospitalidad y el positivo debate que se llevo acabo en Gales. Los planes para el evento de este año aun están siendo formulados y estamos conversado con los organizadores de las ferias internacionales del movimiento de la ‘Comida Lenta’ para ver si podemos coordinar actividades.
Esperamos enviar mas detalles sobre el evento en el futuro cercano, pero por lo pronto les pedimos que marquen sus calendarios entre el 13 y el 20 de Septiembre.
