Thank you to everyone who has contacted us with concerns for the coffee farmers of Sopacdi, as a result of the troubles in the DRC. There has been a great deal of disruption and difficulty in Minova where Sopacdi is based and farmers have been affected and some displaced. However there is more calm in the area now, customs have re-opened and day to day activity is resuming. Operations are continuing at the washing station which is the main production unit and farmers living close to the washing station have been able to continue to supply coffee cherries for processing. Twin is very appreciative of the support shown for the Sopacdi farmers.
