Twin and Twin Trading awarded Carbon Trust Standard
Twin and Twin Trading have been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard in recognition of measuring, managing and reducing our carbon emissions. Achieving the Standard is the result of over two years hard work and investment to bring down our carbon footprint across the organisation, including energy use, transport and waste.
What action did we take to achieve the Standard?
- Putting climate change at the heart of what we do and implementing an environmental policy plan
- Calculating our carbon footprint over a two year period and reducing our carbon emissions by 22% over a year
- Replacing old appliances with energy efficient ones (including a new boiler) and switching off appliances where possible
