Twin hosted the inception workshops of its new African Great Lakes project funded by Comic Relief. The 4-year project involves 8 coffee producers organisations based in Uganda, Tanzania and DRC and it will be building the capacity of these organisations to have stronger businesses, be more resilience to climate change and promote gender justice. The meeting took place in Kibuye (Rwanda) in the last week of July. It was attended by representatives of the 8 producer organisations and members of the PPP team based in the UK and regionally.
Taller de los Grandes Lagos Africanos
Twin llevo a cabo el taller de iniciación de su nuevo proyecto en los Grandes Lagos Africanos financiado por Comic Relief. El proyecto, que tiene una duración de 4 años, trabajara con 8 organizaciones productoras de café ubicadas en Uganda, Tanzania y Congo en el fortalecimiento de sus negocios, el tema de género y cambio climático. La reunión se realizo en Kibuye (Ruanda) durante la última semana del mes de julio. El taller recibió participantes de las 8 organizaciones que hacen parte del proyecto y miembros y asociados del equipo PPP de Twin.
Atelier de Grands Lacs Africains
Twin a accueilli l’atelier de lancement de son nouveau projet dans Grands Lacs africains financé par Comic Relief. Le projet, qui aura une durée de 4 ans, travaillera avec 8 organisations des producteurs de café situées en Ouganda, en Tanzanie et au Congo sur le renforcement des capacités en matière des affaires, genre and changement climatique. La réunion a eu lieu la dernière semaine de juillet en Kibuye (Rwanda). Il a réuni des représentants des 8 organisations de producteurs et membres de l’équipe PPP de Twin.
